Occasional dissolution at the end of each kalpa (Brahma's day): the three worlds burn and flood, and Brahma sleeps for a night of equal length while the universe rests withdrawn, to be re-issued at dawn.
Brahmā sleeps. At the close of his day the three worlds — Bhūr, Bhuvar and Svar — are flooded and withdrawn into him: the naimittika (occasional) pralaya. A night as long as the day passes before he wakes and creates again.
